    Jesus washed the feet of his disciples on the night before the Passover. When he had finished he said "Do you understand what I have done to you?"
    The disciples did not understand this humble act of service.

    Neither do we understand the acts - the persecution,the bullying,the beheading or the crucifixion- that some continue to do in the name of their God.
    May the souls of those persecuted rest in peace.
